Bucktail jigs are extremely versatile. They can be used in rivers and lakes, both shallow and deep water. For years, we have been asked by our smallmouth, largemouth & walleye Prostaff to come out with a bucktail jig for their fisheries. After two years of testing and research we offer the new Mepps® Bucktail Jig. Featuring the perfect balance of hand-tied bucktail & flashabou, with the flashabou being more pronounced in the middle to create more flash. These jigs use a chip resistant paint and a durable VMC hook. There isn’t a bucktail jig on the market with a fuller tail or larger profile than the Mepps® Bucktail Jig.
